The Cliffters - perhaps the best instrumental band in Denmark ( not Swedish! - a mistake ) I thought this instro needed a little bit of explanation : those of you who know the Spotnicks should be familiar with this tune, they played it as The Rocket Man. However, the original is an old Russian folk tune known as Polyushka-Polye, very popular in Russia and Central Europe. I will post the same but covered by a superb Finnish band the Quiets, this is a very good cover, the original sounds a lot like the Quiets version. Personally, I think the Cliffters must have liked the Hunters band, as I can hear some parts of their fabulous Storm on this track.:-Dyoutu.be/PSZyTc0dHtU
