The Columbus Day Parade is a big celebration for the Italian community and came pretty close to what I think of as an archetype American parade. These are just some brief clips from MANY I took at this very long but entertaining parade. I managed to catch a T-shirt being thrown at the crowd. Some marchers in one high school band were carrying fake rifles, doing drills to the music. I was a bit taken aback when I realised what they were carrying - but this is the U.S.of A)
