The Commonwealth Youth Council (CYC) is now accepting nomination for the International Youth Task Force (IYTF) which will be responsible for the successful organization of the next CYCs General Assembly and the Commonwealth Youth Forum (CYF) scheduled to hold in November, 2015 in Malta. The IYTF will comprise of 8 young people strictly between the age of 18-30 and from the Commonwealth member countries and its over seas territories, who will then match up to the already established 8 local youth task force in Malta. Few of the IYTFs roles include: 1. Deliver the general assembly and the Commonwealth Youth Forum. 2. Develop the agenda for the Forum. 3. Develop Programme of events. 4. Prepare and facilitate all programmes. 5. Send and accept delegate nominations, and send correspondence related to the assembly/YCF on behalf of CYC executives and the relevant partners. 6. Ensure visas and documents required for the Forum are provided to all delegates on time. 7. All activities and correspondence has to be with consent and approval with the executives. 8. Their activities will be open and in transparent manner. 9. Always report to the CYC executives and the relevant partners. 10. Any other responsibility assigned by the executives and the relevant partners. Part of the criteria for nomination will include but not limited to the followings: 1. Be a member of the CYC (Your organization must be registered with the CYC). 2. Must be below the age of 30. 3. Must have relevant international experience, especially in facilitating international programmes. 4. Must be active participant in the work of the CYC in present or past. 5. Must be able to commit at least 20 hours a week for the work. 6. Must be able to access, read emails and reply, and attend online meetings frequently. 7. Must be able and free to travel at any point in time. 8. Must accept that the job is voluntary. 9. Must submit your CV upon nomination. 10. By nominating yourself/someone is a confirmation that you have agreed to the above terms and many more that will be communicated later.
