The Community Action Board needs you to help spread the word throughout your networks (social media, organizations, churches, friends and family) regarding JOBS for “Community Interviewers for Door-to-Door Surveys” for Hillsborough County’s Comprehensive Community Needs Assessment. Hillsborough County and the Community Action Board are utilizing federal Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) funds and have contracted with the University of Florida’s Florida Survey Research Center (FSRC) to conduct the Needs Assessment. Job applications will be available at all five (5) Neighborhood Service Centers(Lee Davis, Plant City, SouthShore, University, West Tampa) and the Homeless Recovery Program Office. Please look for the ad in the Tampa Tribune, Tampa Bay Times, The Florida Sentinel, The Weekly Challenger, The Florida Courier and La Gaceta. Interested candidates must be at least 18 yrs old with a high school diploma or equivalent. Interviews will be held ONE DAY ONLY! Interested applicants must come to the Lee Davis Neighborhood Service Center (3402 N. 22nd St, Tampa) on Thursday, July 11th , anytime between 10:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. for an interview. The University of Florida is the employer and will conduct the interviews. Applicants will gain valuable experience and should bring the following to the interview: · Government ID (or school ID with photo, or voter registration card) · A copy of their signed social security card.
