The Coral Princess was home for 15 nights on Panama Canal Cruise. It was a trip I felt compelled to take to finish the travel plans Joe & I had prior to losing him. Left Ft Lauderdale for Aruba; Columbia; full Panama Canal transit; Costa Rica; Nicaragua; Cabo San Lucas Mexico & Los Angeles. Incredible journey...in terms of places, people, terrain, poverty, development, engineering... But most of all, personally, as I learned more about myself, at sea far from home and family for Mothers Day, Jeffs birthday & the anniversary of Joes passing...it was eerie but comforting to feel as if he was right there with me at sea completing the planned list. And as fate would have it, on May 10th, I was in Cabo San Lucas- one of his favorite places! It was a perfect day & I felt peaceful for the first time in three years!
