The Cornell Undergraduate Historical Society is excited to announce a call for submissions to the Fifth Edition of Ezra’s Archives, an academic journal featuring undergraduate historical writing from students and universities across the nation. Ezra’s Archives, has a tradition of promoting institutional diversity and academic dialogue among undergraduates, and we are proud to publish work from Cornell as part of that dialogue. All submitted works are treated with the utmost confidentiality and are evaluated by undergraduate editors without reference to institutional origin or authorship. All papers considered for publication in the journal Ezra’s Archives must: - Feature original research utilizing primary source materials. - Be double spaced, 12pt serif font, paginated, with one inch margins - Be in .doc or .docx format, titled Last Name, First Name. For multiple submissions, title Last Name, First Name I, Last Name First Name II, and so on. Papers will not be ranked based on the Roman Numeral. - Be between 10 and 35 pages in length. - Have citations formatted as footnotes and a full bibliography in Chicago Manual of Style format (see chicagomanualofstyle.org/tools_citationguide.html) All submissions must be received by midnight on January 1st, 2015. Papers should be sent by email attachment to ezrasarchives@gmail with “EA Submission 2015” as the subject of the email.
