The Cost of Favor! Do you have an ear for God? Are you toned in to Him? Are you in the right atmosphere for a visit with Him? Are you in the midst of the right people (keeping you focused and encouraged)? How much quiet time do you spend meditating on His Word? Have you asked Him, Lord what is your will for me? How long do you wait to hear from Him? Are you patient? Who are you walking with? Are you in a place where you can hear from God? Why are you not enjoying the best God has to offer? Why are you still struggling? Why do you feel depleted? Why are you depressed? Yes, too many believers are depressed!! Functionally depressed. WHY! You are still trying to keep up residence in two worlds? You want God to meet you where you are, reside with you and pour out His blessings on you. We want what God has for us, while we give to Him sparingly. If you are a tither, know that your giving is not just in tithing, for those who are not tithing that’s just a whole other story! You already know why, you dont truly Trust God yet! So this is referencing those who’ve graduated from not trying to steal from God but still can’t understand why you are still in this predicament. Everything seems to be going good and you look around and you are back where you started. WHY? Its like the Israelites. They were out of Egypt, but Egypt wasn’t out of them! You keep going back to Egypt! You have partially surrendered to a jealous God! Exodus 34:14 Partially surrendering is like NOT surrendering at all! Why would you hold on to something that keeps you bound and unfruitful? Are you tired of Satan kicking your rear? Isaiah 52:1-2 Awake, awake, Clothe yourself in your strength, O Zion; Clothe yourself in your beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city; For the uncircumcised and the unclean Will no longer come into you. 2Shake yourself from the dust, rise up, O captive Jerusalem; Loose yourself from the chains around your neck, O captive daughter of Zion. Rise up Saints of God! It is not for us to understand and try to figure out when and how God will do what in our lives. It is our responsibility to do what we know is His Will in Our Lives! Love the Lord! Seek the Lord! Wait on the Lord and Do His will! Your blessings are stored up, waiting for you and You are the reason it is suspended! What in the world is worth us missing out on God’s blessing? Is it worth finding out? YES, IT IS!!!! In Psalm 139 it reveals that we know that God knows us thoroughly. We know we are imperfect sinners saved by grace. But there could be some things we don’t see about ourselves that is a hindrance to God. Ask God to reveal it to you, and remove it from you! You have to do what you need to do and all you CAN DO to walk in the favor of God! Show us O God, what we need to do, where we need to be and how we need to change to walk in your favor! O Lord, keep me from temptation. Enlarge my territory and bless me indeed! Amen
