The County of San Bernardinos AAA rated Investment Pool is made up of property tax dollars and local government agency funds. Together, they constitute the treasury for all of the Countys school districts, community college districts, County departments, and Board governed special districts. The Auditor-Controller/Treasurer/Tax Collectors (ATC) office has a current vacancy for Investment Analyst Trainee who will receive training in the support of the Countys Portfolio and Cash Management Program. Investment Analyst Trainees compile and analyze financial data and prepare reports on companies for periodic review of financial performance, assess credit condition of companies and provide recommendations to investment management staff, and monitor and analyze market and economic data. CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT Investment Analyst Trainees are eligible for promotion to Investment Analyst ($64,646 - $82,659 annually) upon meeting the minimum qualifications for that class and receiving a satisfactory work performance evaluation. Incumbents must qualify for promotion within 12 months or be terminated. Some positions in this classification may be assigned to a schedule of less than full-time (80 hours) per two-week pay period. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Bachelors Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or Business Administration (with an emphasis in Investments, Finance, Economics or Accounting).
