The Creed We profess our faith in many idle ways …Stickers, - TopicsExpress

The Creed We profess our faith in many idle ways …Stickers, Badges, Caller tunes, ringing tones, special garments, titles, activities etc. but many of us still fail in the vital areas …..hate instead of God’s love, sin and lust instead of holiness and righteousness. What type of Born again are we? What a shattered expectation, what an aimless living. A life yielded to do as Jesus would is the best way to declare our faith. Jesus gave a clear delineation between the real devotion and the shadows of it in Luk 10:41-42 “And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things: But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her. Similarly, Cornelius was devoted, feared God with all his household, gave much alms and even prayed to God always, yet God needed to tell him what ‘‘He ought to do’’. Acts 10:6. Upon the discovery of true devotion to God, hear Paul’s declaration ‘‘that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death’’ Phil 3:10. The substance of our creed must reflect in the life we live…in the ordinary day to day relationships…with our spouse, neighbours, co-workers, communities, people of divergent opinions, government business, politics etc. The livestyle will live must show that we are Chrit’s representatives on earth. We need not fight to win nations, but we win our own small world for him. As we glorify him in our specch, conduct, character etc.we moreand more reflect his image. We need not show off our identity, it reflects supernaturally. May we discover the true essence of serving and worshiping God.Shalom!!!
