The Crew: Last week I was a Crew member and wore my fuchsia tee with pride, we built marquees, sold sparkly things, sung and laughed until we cried. We raced around from dawn till dusk and often later still, danced and litter picked by moonlight, and still thought it was a thrill. We served tea and cake all day long then showed a film at night, we cycled, built sandcastles, glued, then went gillying and hope the crabs would bite! But today is Monday morning, and it’s very quiet here, we’re all tired and exhausted, but looking forward to next year! SP
