The DFW proAMjam is a WSDC sanctioned West Coast Swing Competition, Workshop and Social Dance Weekend that celebrates and promotes amateur dancers and their Teaching Pros. We treat our Amateur Dancers like Rock Stars with Spotlight finals and plenty of opportunities for Pro Am competition. Fun is what the event is all about with lots of social dance time, jam sessions, an hilarious Pro Challenge, educational and fun workshops and, of course, DANCING at its best. We also send you home with some complementary DFW proAM Jam. This year its Cherry Brandy! We have a fabulous staff joining us this year! For the first time in many years, the amazing Tip of the Week Pro, Michael Kiehm, and his partner, Sue Fries, will be in Texas teaching 4 fabulous workshops at the DFW proAMjam. The Event kicks off on Thursday, May 22nd, 2014, with a 2 hour workshop with Michael Kiehm and Sue Fries, followed by our Early Bird Dance. For the first time in Texas, Michael Kiehm will be offering his GPDIA Intensive on Friday, May 22nd, at 10:00 am. Our event is a full three day event (4 days if you count Thursday), from Friday, May 23rd till the wee hours of Sunday, May 25th. We offer 24 Competitions and hours of social dance time, so this event is for everyone who loves West Coast Swing!
