The DIE HARD films have, unsurprisingly, gotten progressively worse since the terrific first installment, and the 4th film marked a pretty significant drop in quality from the third, but even so, I wasnt prepared for just how bad this latest effort was going to be. It barely qualifies as a film. Direction, in the sense that we know it, is pretty much non-existent, and the actors dont seem to be bothered to make an effort other than to read their dialogue out loud. Are Bruces finances really so bad that he has to make this dross?
