The Dalton Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying two suspects who used a stolen credit card on March 31 to make purchases at two locations in Dalton. One of the suspects was captured on surveillance video at a gas station and the second suspect was described to investigators by witnesses. The victim told investigators that she was not sure if her wallet was stolen from her car which was parked at Dalton State College or from her office on campus. After she found her wallet was stolen she contacted her bank and shut off her credit card and found that it had already been used at the Office Depot and the Conoco station on West Walnut Avenue. Investigators spoke with staff at both locations and determined that the card was used by two suspects, a black male and a black female. The male suspect was described as standing approximately 6 feet, 2 inches tall with a skinny build. He wore a red and white T-shirt with black pants and white flip flops, glasses, and a black flat-billed baseball hat. He was captured on surveillance at the Conoco station. The female suspect was described as having brown and purple hair with purple eyebrows and stud piercings in both cheeks, standing approximately 5 feet, 3 inches tall. The pair left in a silver-colored vehicle believed to be a Dodge Magnum. Anyone with information on the identity of these suspects is asked to contact Detective Brian Shirley at (706) 278-9085, ext. 189.
