The Davao City Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise Development Council (DCMSMEDC) in cooperation with partner-banks, namely: Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP), Al Amanah Islamic Bank (AAIB), Small Business Corporation (SBCorp), Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP) and Philippine Export-Import Credit Agency (PHILEXIM) will conduct a “Financing Clinic for the Food and Processed Food Sector” on Friday, June 7, 2013 at the Boardroom, Davao City Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (DCCCII) from 1:00pm to 3:00pm and every friday thereafter. The said activity aims to address problems of MSMEs in accessing financing programs of banks for additional capital, purchase of equipment, business expansion, among others. Partner-banks will present their financing programs to interested MSMEs in the Food and Processed Food Sector, as well as, guide them in preparing their requirements to ensure that they can avail of the financing loan. Further, business advisory and counseling partners such as Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP), MASICAP Development Foundation and the SMERN of DCCCII will be at hand to assist and advise MSMEs in the preparation of Financial Statement and other financing documents as required by most banks.
