The Day of Jehovah Tsaba - JESUS! Son, Lord, and King of kings & Lord of lords In this teaching, Dr. Don G. Pickney gives us the manner in which Jesus, from the time he was born, qualified for His place in the Kingdom of God. As a Son, He first learned to be subject to earthly authority, then as he came into His manhood He grew in wisdom and character and learned obedience to His Heavenly Father as His Son. It wasnt until the approximate age of 30 that he was summoned by the Father God into His kingdom. When he obeyed and submitted to be baptized by John the Baptist, He was ushered from His trade as carpenter into the Kingdom of God to take His place as a servant. He was driven into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil and to be prepared for His first Kingdom assignment. When He came out of the wilderness victorious over the devil, He was called to His very first miracle (in the Kingdom of God). In what was a very unlikely scenario for service, God used Jesus own mother, Mary, to assist as Jesus was called to turn the water into wine. Who would have thought by attending a wedding, Jesus would have His first opportunity to serve in the working of miracles. Now Jesus was approved of God to be His servant among the people to heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, cast out devils and raise the dead. Very quickly, His obedience began to pay off as He gave Himself to serve at the will of His Father. Soon He would receive His first promotion in the Kingdom from servant to Master servant. As the Father appointed to Jesus disciples to teach and train in the Kingdom, He became known as Master. His disciples would not themselves be called yet into the Kingdom themselves, but they would be discipled by Jesus to prepare them for Kingdom service as soon as they entered the Kingdom. He placed His own anointing upon them, and sent them to learn to serve in His Name. On the Day of Pentecost, when they were born again, they were baptized in the Holy Spirit. Now they were both prepared and equipped with power. On that day in the upper room, they saw visual proof of the Kingdom of God coming to dwell in themselves. God was summoning them into His Kingdom for service. Not all who were called that day excelled in the Kingdom. Some became greater servants than others and achieved greater promotion. Those who did will receive the greater rewards in Heaven as God prepares His family for even greater service in His Eternal Kingdom. Twenty-four thrones are seen in Heaven in the book of Revelation. These twenty-four thrones are prepared for twelve representatives of the tribes of Israel, plus twelve Apostles of the Church. We know from Jesus own words that eleven of them were His disciples (minus Judas). The Apostle Paul will undoubtedly join them as the twelfth of the Apostles because He was the only other Apostle that Jesus personally appeared to when He was called like the others. According to Philippians 2:10-11, because Jesus served humbly and well, He was exalted to be Lord. Currently, He is Lord of all who will accept Him as Savior, and serves as Lord, Head of the Church. A day will come when the Father will see to it that all of His enemies are made His footstool. Then every knee will bow, and every tongue confess Him as Lord. He will be manifested as Lord of all! Then Jesus will receive yet another promotion. In the great final judgment of the Church, when we receive our rewards for service in the Kingdom of God, we will also receive promotions to be lords over eternal assignments. Following that great event, we will return with Jesus to the earth for His great Millennial reign. He will return with us to Earth as King of kings and Lord of lords. (WE WILL BE THE KINGS AND LORDS OVER WHICH HE WILL SERVE AS KING AND LORD OF). Those who have been the most faithful servants in His Kingdom will be at the very top of His government as we reign over the earth with Him for a thousand years. Not everyone will be rewarded as lords or kings. Many will simply live as citizens of the Kingdom with varied assignments in the earth during that period. There will be every echelon of service assigned from the least to the greatest. Jesus said of that day, Many who were first will be last and the last will be first. Not every great platform seen here on earth will resort in a great one in eternity. Many in the Church have built their own platform for service, and primarily serve their own purposes, goals and dreams. They will be the least in Gods eternal kingdom. On the other hand, there will be those who were only called here to do small things, but they remained faithful in those thing as they quietly and obediently served Christ, perhaps in an unseen place of prayer, or as an encourager of others, or as did Mary, raise their children to be prepared for service to God. Many of these will be at the very head of Christs reign on earth.
