The Defense Minister Gen. Fahed Jasem Al- Freij paid today a field-visit to Al-Mleihah in Eastern Ghouta of Damascus Countryside to inspect the condition of the Syrian Arab army units that have restored security & stability to the area. The Defense Minister was briefed by the battlefield leaders on the military operations which were carried out by the Syrian Arab Army soldiers in the city & the surrounding farms. General Al-Freij praised the high morale of the Syrian Arab Army soldiers who are doing their sacred duty of defending the homeland asserting that their recent achievement of restoring security to Al Mleihah is an important step to eliminate the remaining hotbeds of terrorism in Eastern Ghouta. The Defense Minister conveyed President Basher Al Assad’s greetings & love to the heroes of the Syrian Arab Army & his pride in their sacrifices that have been made to liberate Syria from the terrorists who are linked to the external enemy. Gen. Al Freij said that this victory is part of a series of victories achieved by our armed forces asserting that the Syrian Arab army is persisting in the fight against terrorism in order to restore security & stability to all parts of the country.
