The Del Mar Fair grounds is owned by the State of California for those who did not know. Today I called our Governor regarding what is going on at the race track. I believe HE IS THE only one that can shut it down to do an investigation. Here is how the call went: Hi I would like to speak with Governor Brown....Chris who works there, I am sorry but the Governor does not take personal calls. Me...this is not a personal call, it is a business/emergency call. I tell him I am calling from San Diego in regards to the possible illegal activity/death of horses going on at the race track. Chris, what is the name of the race track, me really? I give him the entire story of the deaths and inform him that there needs to be a full investigation done. He says he will give the message to the Governor. Me, please have him call me tomorrow. Chris...we are not allowed to make any outgoing phone calls. Me....ummmm that doesnt seem quite right, well then have him e-mail me. I told him I wanted a response no later than tomorrow, since I already e-mailed him last week and did NOT get a response.
