The Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics - University of Connecticut is excited to share another wonderful intern and volunteer opportunity for students... VOLUNTEER INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY: The UConn Extensions Sustainable Food Systems program is looking for a student intern to conduct research that will help ongoing outreach programs with farmers and food system leaders. Research might include the following, estimating average CSA share prices in CT, updating state level food system indicators, and researching procurement contract language for locally grown food in school districts. The volunteer needs to have a car or transportation to travel to office in Vernon. Research commitment would be for 90-100 hours, between June-Aug.
