The Department of Agriculture – Regional Field Unit 8 (DA-RFU 8) is trying its best to make utmost use of latest technologies and developments. As such, we are currently introducing the first-of-its-kind Virtual Market in Region 8 aptly called the “Agri-Biz Market Place”. It is a virtual market that will assist the farmer-traders to communicate to their customers and promote their agricultural products. In more ways, this is a system designed to boost the income of the farmers and fisherfolk since buyers and suppliers will get first-hand knowledge on the incessant flow and demands of goods or products needed by them and the local or even international market. To access and register our system, please follow the 10 steps or procedures stated hereunder: How to join: 1. Go to DA-8 official website. Type in the browser the URL: da8.da.gov.ph. 2. Click the AGRI-Biz Market Place image link at the right side. 3. Click the Join AgriBiz button. 4. Fill in the Membership Form. a. The contact person is the name that the other buyers/suppliers will identify you. b.Your email address and contact number. c.Identify yourself, if you are a buyer or supplier and select your product/commodity. 5. Click the submit button. (You will receive a confirmation email). 6. In the link, copy the code after the (=) sign. 7. In the AgriBiz login window, click the Registration Confirmation link and paste the code. 8. Click submit button. 9. You will receive an email that your registration has been successfully completed. 10. Login in the AgriBiz Market Place. The system will generate a list of registered suppliers for buyers and registered buyers for suppliers of a specific commodity. Buyers and suppliers can now transact to each other freely.
