The Department of Public Health (DPH) in Massachusetts is urging anyone who may have come into contact with a skunk at Six Flags New England from July 21 - July 31 to contact DPH. A woman who was visiting the amusement park on July 31 reports she saw three skunks when one approached her and bit her on the foot. The animal was taken in and tested positive for rabies. DPH notes that only people with direct exposure to skunk saliva are at risk. Anyone who thinks they might have been exposed can call DPH at (617) 983-6800.
