The Descriptions Muladhara Chakra: Focusing on the Root energy center located at the bottom pelvic region, legs, feet and beyond. Standing postures build strength for balance, while grounding postures connect us to Mother Earth in an intimate way. Sacred music fills the air and speaks the sound of OM. Svadhistana Chakra: Focusing on the energy center located in the hips, sacrum, and psoas. Unravel as to allow the water of creation to flow and your practice to deepen. This class encompasses hip openers as well as forward bends. Sensual, etheric beats will send you into yogi bliss. Manipura Chakra: Focusing on twisting and strengthening the core region for optimal detoxification. Creating strong digestive heat through pranayama along with rock music, ignites the soul and stokes the fire. Anahata Chakra: Backbending opens the chest, energizes the spine, and energetically expands the cardiovascular system. Postures such as wheel, tip-toe fish, and Natarajasana (Dancer Pose), and rockstar to name a few. This class threads a devotional musical line-up of kirtan music, violin, and classic love songs. Vishuddha Chakra: This class focuses primarily on nada yoga, the yoking of sound with movement. Standing postures, forward bending, twisting, back bending, and everything in-between. All this paralleled with musical tones that vibrate each energy center. Kirtan as well as light sanskrit chanting. You will be inspired to sing! Flow Fundamentals This class will breakdown all elements of a vinyasa flow and poetically synergize them back together focusing on slow rhythmic movements, basic postures, and detailed alignment. Mellow music plays softly in the back ground to assist the start of a beautiful relationship…Your body, your breath, and your mat. Intermediate Flow A comprehensive class that unblocks meridians to allow our cosmic life force, our Prana, to flow freely.
