The Design House is home to many up and coming designers, one being the talented jewller Aidan Smyth. Aidan is an Irish jewellery designer and maker based in Dublin . He began making jewellery while attending Grennan Mills Craft School, Kilkenny in 1999/2001. Following this he obtained a degree in Fine Art from Crawford College, Cork. Since establishing his jewellery business in 2012 he has been shortlisted for the Futuremakers Awards 2014, exhibited in Showcase 2014, completed the ‘Building Craft & Design Enterprise Programme’, a joint venture of Dublin City Enterprise Board, PLATO and the Crafts Council and exhibited his work as part of Bank of Ireland new businesses.
