The Dolphins Off-season is this EASY!!! Miami has a fantastic opportunity to plug some simple holes and rock 2015! LOL, Should the staff fail this year EVERYBODY needs to pack their S#!T!!! Draft 1st Round - DT / Danny Shelton 6‘2, 340lbs - Huskies or Eddie Goldman 64, 320lbs - FSU. -The run D was weak well before the Broncos blew the doors off. -Those issues go all the way back to training camp, remember-the MLB issues? 2nd Round - Depends on what players are available, any immediate starters in OL, CB, S, WR. -TE - IF the Dolphins are going to let Charles Clay slide in free -agency. Then..... TE - Max Williams - Minnesota - 64, 250lbs -TE#2 - Clive Walford - Miami - 64, 255lbs. WR - Devante Parker - Oklahoma -(WR#2)- Kevin White - WV both are 63, 210lbs -(WR#3) Devin Funchess - Michigan - 65, 230lbs -(WR#4) Jaelen Strong - Arizona St - 64, 210lbs FS - Gerod Holliman - Lousiville - 62, 215lbs -FS#2 - Durell Eskridge - Syracuse - 63, 200lbs -FS#3 - Cody Prewitt - Ole Miss - 62 220lbs CB - Jalen Collins - LSU - 62, 194lbs -CB#2 - Alex Carter - Stanford - 60, 202 lbs -CB#3 - PJ Williams - FSU - 60 196lbs -CB#4 - Marcus Peters - Huskies - 60, 200lbs 3rd Round - OG / Laken Tomlinson - Duke - 63, 320 lbs. -Tomlinson is projected in the 3rd-4th round in all of the mock -drafts Ive seen this year but he is this years Zack Martin. -The kid is mentally, fundamentally and almost physically -perfect (2 inches short of the prototypical OG), he might -be the steal of the draft. The kid is a genius, who could start -right off rip. Hell he could coach O-line in the NFL this season. 4th Round - OL Depth - Corey Robinson - S Carolina - 67 340 - OT - Robert Myers - Tenn St - 65, 310lbs - OG - Aundry Walker - USC - 66, 318lbs 5th Round - Powerback /(1) FB Jalston Fowler - Bama - 60 248lbs -/- (Opt #2) HB Matt Jones - UF - 61, 235lbs -/- (Opt #3) HB Karlos Williams - FSU - 61, 225lbs 6th Round - Back Up QB - (Matt Moore is a UFA and not worth a $5.5 Mill cap hit.) / Bo Wallace - Ole Miss 64, 217lbs -OR- Blake Sims - Alabama - 60, 208lbs. 7th Round - DEPTH Free Agency: Overall, the Offensive Line is coming along pretty well. James played great in his rookie season. Albert will return to pro-bowl form. The developmental draft pick Billy Turner should be ready to rock in 15. Miami just needs another Guard, some solid depth and hopefully they can plug Pouncey back in to Center. I would rather Satele play back up center, then Pouncey can always slide back to Guard if needed. The 3rd and 4th rounds in the draft seem to be great rounds for grabbing some quality Guards. Miami needs a corner who can match up with the bigger Megtron type WRs and there isnt much available in the draft. So, Im hoping they can afford UFA Antonio Cromartie. Hes 62, 215lbs he may be 30 but Grimes is playing pretty well at 31. I dont think too much of Chris Simms. Although, Chris Simms is right about Kenny Britt blowing up in 2015 barring injury. I would like to see Miami pick up Britt 63 230. Should Wallace walk this year. No worries, there are a few speed demons available like Jermie Macklin, Cecil Shorts, Torrey Smith or even Randall Cobb. Dez Bryant is a UFA but dont get your hopes up, hes not going anywhere, plus he wants $16 Mill a year. Yup, hes probably getting tagged. Starks & Odrick might hit the open market this year. Miami needs to trim some cap space and its been said that Odrick wants big bucks this year. Well that and his personal issues with the coaching staff. Starks on the other hand is set to pull down $5 Mill this year. Miami needs to upgrade the D-line again but dont get your hopes up. Suh is available but hes looking for a bigger contract and he made $22 Million in 2014. Yeah, think more Nick Fairley, the Lions other DT or maybe Dan Williams from the Cardinals killer D. Delmas is a UFA this year too, he signed a 1 year contract last season for $3.5 Mill. His back up Wilson is also a UFA this year. So unless Miami can snag Gerod Holliman or Durell Eskridge in the draft they may want to consider wraping Delmas up for a few years. Phillip Wheeler is gone this year but even with the cap hit Miami will save a few million in cap space. Danelle Ellerbie may find himself in the same situation too. I read somewhere, Miami could save over $7 Million by cutting Ellerbie & Wheeler. I still think Damien Williams has a great future and if given the opportunity he will have a break out season in 15! Williams has great balance, good moves and despite the easy TD drop good hands. He just needs some more carries to improve his vision. I caught a LOT of slack last year by suggesting Miami trade Hartline. lol it was mostly women cursing at me and unfriending me. Now, Im just hoping they can replace and get rid of him however possible. Hartline banks a lot of bread for that BS effort he put up last season.
