The Dossier is a 20 minute film about John E Remlap. John E Remlap is an anarchist journalist based in England. He read Philosophy at Greenwich University before travelling the world. Back in England, he devoted himself to political activism and particularly became involved with the Student Protests in 2010 and the Occupy London movement in 2011, joining the never ending battle between the people and the 1%. He also composes music. During his time with Occupy he was one of the most present on-site personalities and adopted the alias Johnny Teatent because of his frustration with the closure of the tea tent at the camp by agent provocateurs. He instigated the building of the Occupy St. Pauls barricade and the fortifications at the Occupy Finsbury Square protest camp. Tension grew stronger as his views of taking the battle of the people versus the 1% clashed with the sentiment of the majority of active occupiers. A new attitude between the activists networks was implemented. Amid several allegations from activists with regards to infiltration of secret agents between the protests working groups, the focus of all efforts was to shift to online work and sporadic, creative, small-scale protests. John was also questioning why all the money donated to the occupation were going to a bank account that belongs to the Climate Camp group. His infamy within the UK Security Industry as well as the protest milieu catalysed due to three acts of vandalism against supposed state agents. John experienced several psychotic episodes and was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia. He burned a hat, cut off a white persons dreadlock, and smashed a phone that was misused by an alleged infiltrator. He was also verbally abusive towards his family and friends. In the meantime, he was arrested and detained while attending marches and protests in London on frequent occasions. He lost a front tooth. John has now compiled a Dossier with extensive, sensitive information on all agent provocateurs that he had contact with during his years as an activist. In the light of large scale whistle blowing instances gaining increasing attention with the global Mainstream Media eg. Julian Assange, Glenn Greenwald, Edward Snowden, Russell Brand and Chelsea Manning, he is confident that there is a world-wide appetite for exposing secret services and dark diplomacy.
