The Duluth News Tribune just ran a story on this video stating it grabbed the attention of the D.P.D and indirectly sent 19 year old Trap God back to jail on a probation violation because of the glorification of gang activity...I noticed the youtube views have gone up a couple hundred in the last couple of hours. All they did was boost his notoriety and street cred by printing this. Ive never heard of him or his music video before now. Obviously this aint my cup of tea music-wise, however its his first amendment right to freedom of speech and the fact that hes using an outlet like music to express himself could quite likely be keeping him away from other questionable activities. Obviously putting this music video out while hes on probation wasnt the brightest idea but I think outsiders dont realize how much time, energy, creativity, and effort are being put into mediums like song production, lyric writing, shooting and editing videos, etc. which in turn is time taken away from actually living a life of crime. I dunno...thats my rant for this morning.
