The ENT in Placerville, Dr. Rice has completely appalled me. Apologies to those who love him. Monika was twice a patient of Dr. RIce as recent as age 18.. Now he will not deem her an existing patient and despite urgency of referral from 2 physicians including the ER, he refused to consider her case and said he would reconsider in March!!!!! Office says hes just too busy with plastic surgery and existing clients since its the end of the year. And ... It took 4 calls to get this info. To compare, SacENT .. Saw the urgency and fit her in and was kind about it--mind you Dr. Rice even looked at her chart and med records!!!! We still have a bit of a wait , but not 3-4 months.
