The Ebola crisis in West Africa is getting worse, and unless drastic measures are taken, millions of people could be infected in the next couple of months. This is a disease with a near 50% fatality record. Guys, since I bashed my knee a few weeks ago Ive been a bit quiet on the fundraising and training front. But, Ive decided that I will be strong enough to go ahead and run the Auckland Half Marathon this weekend. The main reason Ive decided to grit my teeth and go for it is because Im doing it in aid of UNICEF NZ, a charity that have boots on the ground in West Africa and are working as hard as they can to contain this outbreak.
