The Edgar Ranges are perched on the edge of the Great Sandy - TopicsExpress

The Edgar Ranges are perched on the edge of the Great Sandy Desert, containing remnants of very old landforms, as the surrounding countryside has been eroded away by water and time. Clear evidence of Aboriginal occupation exists and you can see where they have sat by the spring and ground the base rock into ochre for paintings and ceremonies. Ground access is no longer allowed, but if youre really committed to adventure you can arrange for a helicopter flight over the area. Photo via KAS Helicopters. #WesternAustralia #adventure #travel
