The Edgbaston will open on the 2nd May 2014 following the lavish refurbishment of 18 Highfield Road, Edgbaston. The Edgbaston is a 6 bedroom boutique hotel and cocktail lounge. Owners Stuart & Darren Insall are working closely with one of the UK’s most ‘up and coming’ birmingham designer Tony Mattersfrom Heterarchy Interior Design. Darren and Stuart drew on their years of experience and success of their first boutique hotel and cocktail lounge the kenilworth which they started 8years ago. For The Edgbaston we drew ideas from the 1920’s art deco era whilst still paying homage to the buildings 1850’s Victorian/early Romantic roots. It will offer contemporary luxury, traditional glamour and uncompromising service. Our ambition is to create the number one cocktail destination in the UK. We see Edgbaston as the Mayfair of Birmingham, it has huge business potential. We are so excited about being in the centre of this new fine dining quarter being created in Edgbaston. The cocktail lounges at The Edgbaston utilise over 50 years of experience. Our extravagant bar is home to over 500 spirits from all over the world. Over 80 brand new cocktails to choose from, all created exclusively for The Edgbaston by a team of award winning bartenders. The Edgbaston cocktail lounge will be open 7 days a week from noon until the early hours of the morning.
