Sheriff James Knight said between Sunday night and Monday morning, someone broke into the fire department and stole various itmes, including drinks, snacks, food items, work lights, batteries and cleaning supplies. The suspect or suspects also removed three parts of the Jaws of Life system used to cut into vehicles to free accident victims. The parts removed were the ram, the spreader and the cutting attachments. Also stolen was a 2.5-inch diameter fire hose nozzle.
