The Employee I was representing yesterday and his wife honored me with a wonderful surprise yesterday taking me out to dinner to Tres Amigos which was originally opened by 3 staff from the landmark La Hacienda. Only one "Manny" remains. I grew up going to La Hacienda and spent much time there going to UTEP. The staff remained almost the same through all those years. I had an old favorite the steak tampiquena with enchilada but dinner was as much about tradition and good memories as it was the food. Manny said he remermbered me but what was special for me was I well remembered him. He is good friends with the folks I was with so the special attention was wonderful but he always gave some measure of special attention. What a wonderful surprise !!!
