The Facebooks are wonky this week which is historically a precursor to great change or shifts on the platform many of us have woven into the fabric of our daily lives. Ive also noticed lots of talk lately about facebook being over and dead. So instead of the typical (understandable) urge to gripe about whatever change is inevitably coming, I take this opportunity to stand in awe of what this social media platform has done so far. For better or worse, if you are an active facebook user, your communication experience is vastly different than it was just a few years ago. The connection... shared wisdom... love and support has been an amazing byproduct I never expected when I first started sharing random things about my life on a computer. Its also wicked terrific for jokes (tame & raunchy alike) and who among us doesnt need more laughter. I guess all I want to say as my posts and comments are disappearing and reappearing this week is #thankyoufacebook. I feel your shifts and I calmly await your next announcements :)
