The Fall Election process to fill currently vacant Student Association Senate seats for the 2013-14 academic year has begun! Open Senate seats include: Senator-at-Large (1) Business and Management Division (1) Freedom Apartments (2) Liberty Terrace Apartments (2) Empire Commons Apartments (2) Alumni Quad (2) Indian Quad (2) State Quad (2) Colonial Quad (2) Dutch Quad (2) Off-Campus (8) To be eligible to run for a position, you must (at minimum) be a full-time, undergraduate student who has paid their Student Activity fee, hold a 2.5 or higher cumulative GPA (except for new students) and be in good disciplinary standing. For a residence-based position, you must currently reside in that living area. For academic-based positions, you must be a declared major in the relevant division. Any student interested in running for a position must submit a self-nomination form via MyInvolvement. Candidates will be required to attend a mandatory meeting on Friday, September 6th at 5:00 p.m. in the Campus Center West Lounge. Voting will begin on Wednesday, September 11th at 12:00 a.m. and end at 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, September 12th.
