The Ferguson hype was a mystery to me. Why would the media talk about the Michael Brown case so much? The video clearly showed Michael robbing a store and without hesitation choking the owner with disdain- minutes before the incident with officer Wilson. But it is also true that their is a real problem with the police abusing their power, because thats what people do when they acquire too much. But one case isnt the real issue or the medias real motivation for focusing on this story so much. The following video gave the best explanation to me, that the reason for the recent controversy was that it gave the elite the ability to divide and conquer -to distract from actual police abuse, and to De-legitimatize resistance to the abuses of police power,and power in general. https://youtube/watch?v=2D-WDc7KAKQ
