The Flagstaff Stake Regional Mid-Singles Dance is fast approaching. Heres the information. If you would like to stay over and go home on Sunday there are some Flagstaff singles that are willing to let people stay, but they need some notice so please use the contact information to let them know. __________________________________________________________________ Sunday, August 10: Snowflake Fireside, Main St. Chapel RS room 7PM: We are privileged to have Sister Danielson come and speak to us on Improving our Self Esteem. Sister Danielson is a widow (twice) with 4 children, 5 step-children, 21 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.She graduated from BYU with a degree in counseling and has been a teacher, counselor, and school district administrator.Sister Danielson is currently the co-founder, principal, and teacher for the George Washington Academy, a new elementary charter school in Snowflake.Shes had two books published by Deseret Book and is in the process of self-publishing a third. She also teaches the TFOT lesson in her ward Relief Society. Tuesday, August 12, Payson: Lets Eat! Meet at El Rancho at 11:30 a.m. for some yummy Mexican food. They have $1.50 specials on Tuesdays. Call if you need a ride or directions. Gena Hall 951- 4363. Since this is women only, bring your married female friends! Saturday, August 16: Hiking, Meet at the Snowflake Main St. Chapel to car pool to hiking trail at 6:30 AM. If you live in Show Low, meet at the Downtown Chapel at 7:00 AM to caravan to hiking trail. Bring some water. The trailhead for the Ice Cave Trail is on Porter Mountain Road across the street from the Humane society. It is classified as an easy hike, not too much uphill, but a little rocky. Its 2 miles from the trailhead to the ice cave, 4 mile round trip. Anyone is welcome if you feel you are up to it! The trail skirts Scott lake, and there is some great scenery. Sunday, August 17: Show Low Fireside, Show Low Downtown Chapel, 6:30PM. RS room. Saturday, August 23: Taylor Activity. Playing in the water in Salt River Canyon. Meet at the Centennial chapel at 8:00 AM. We will car pool to location. Bring a lunch and a towel. Sunday, August 24: Taylor Fireside, Centennial Chapel 7PM RS room. EVERY MONDAY NIGHT Snowflake/Taylor Home Evening, 7:00 p.m., Home of Mary Law, 190 E Snowflake Blvd 536-3070
