The Flood City Youth Fitness Academy’s Safe Haven program needs our help! Keith Rothfus has repeatedly failed to respond to requests from this vital program to tour the facility and meet with its directors. Last night I visited Safe Haven to tour the facility and discuss the resources that are needed there. This fabulous, volunteer-run program features a public gym, a boxing program, individualized fitness training rooms, and an after-school session that provides a place for kids to learn about nutrition, fitness, robotics, and computer programming. I was asked to submit a letter of support for this program, but as your voice in Congress, I plan to deliver much more for this promising initiative in our beloved Johnstown.
