The Footpath Fund doesn’t just look after our highest mountains – we care for other property footpaths, too. Mar Lodge suffered a loss of over 50 metres of path in recent storms. Peter Holden, Head Ranger says: “August’s flood was on a scale not witnessed for at least 50 years. Where rivers have changed course, whole sections of path have disappeared completely.
