The Frenchman claimed that he already has the numbers upfront and if anymore players are to come in they will be in other positions. He saidUp front we don`t need any more, maybe I will still bring in one centre-back. I will bring in a goalkeeper for sure and we are still out there to strengthen our squad. But the question I pose to you is Do you think we need another striker?`. Arsene Wenger spent £35M on Alexis Sanchez who can play all across the front line, of course there is his top scorer last season, Olivier Giroud, the returning Theo Walcott, the new-old signing of Joel Campbell and the as yet, goalless but promising, Yaya Sanogo. Is this enough? Too many square pegs in round holes? Too many unknown variables? Or as with last season will our style of play allow for goals from all over the park? As my esteemed colleague, Amos has pointed out, as we near the maximum number of squad players we would most certainly need to lose a player or two if we were to see another striker come in(assuming that Wenger gets the goalkeeper he`s desperately after. So who would you get rid of?
