The Fulton Community Center is in the finals for a grant for about $52.000.00. at the Fulton Community Foundation. In this grant is an epoxy floor for the multipurpose room, basketball goal and security cameras. We are one of six finalists. We are getting nervous because tomorrow night Wendell Burton and myself are getting interviewed about the grant. We both are not use to this interviewing with the jobs we have as farmers. No matter the outcome, people need to know if it was not for this foundation, the community building would not have happened. They gave us the seed money plus more, (about $36,000) towards this project. Its kinda scary looking back that they believed in the project when a lot thought it was just a pipe dream. Dreams can come true with hard work, generosity of donations and labor, and love for a project that you truly believe in. God Bless our Community! ~Diane
