The GMFC is sad to report the passing of our 1974 Champion, Herman Johnson. A 5 time US National Champion, he was inducted into The National Fiddler Hall Of Fame in 2012 where he was honored as a Master fiddler, competitor, composer and teacher. An inspiration in the pursuit of perfection to fiddle players everywhere. As a fiddler he was known for playing to perfection, and as a competitor, for always being a gentleman and remaining calm under pressure.
