The GNR has come and gone, and a tremendous Well Done to all our friends who did so well in their personal challenges. Now comes the opportunity of volunteering for the Riverside parkrun to keep the excitement levels at fever pitch............ oh come on guys, Ive got to try something! Seriously tho folks....please see the forthcoming volunteer roster page at parkrun.org.uk/riverside/futureroster for the current state of the volunteer roster for the next few weeks. You will see that, after a full roster last week, we are struggling to get going for Saturday, with vacancies for 6 marshals, 2 barcode scanners, finish tokens, and new runners brief. We need volunteers to fill the vacant positions and we welcome hearing from you, anyone(!) if you are able to help on Saturday (13th) or indeed at any of the other times. This is a great opportunity for non-running parents, spouses, partners, children, and friends to get involved, and make your support that extra bit special. We would also like to encourage anyone to try out any responsibilities that are new to you. Remember, no task is too difficult, and full training and support is given to new volunteers.
