The GOOD AND BAD about today....Good was the Bushwackers show in Pennsauken, NJ getting to see the corps from Germany with the DM starting the corps off in German, the bad was the sunburn I got from not preparing better for a day time show (duh), the good was seeing old friends like Fran Haring and Cecily Sigfreid among so many others, the bad was only spending a brief few moments with daughter Leighann Fields who has been helping teach the Bushwackers guard, the good was seeing Cheryl Mangolds son Kurt all grown up, the bad was not connecting with Leighann after the show for food, the good was going to the Metro Diner in Fairlawn, NJ and running into a whole bunch of drum corps friends including the two mentioned above, the bad was coming home with full intent on starting the write up of the show for Drum Corps World and falling asleep on the key board because I am so sunburn, the good however...THE FORTY NINERS ARE ON TV here on the East Coast. Not such a bad day all told, but ouch...my sun burn is gonna be hell for the next few days. Go Niners!!!
