The Gallery at the Civic Center and the Gallery at the Temecula Public Library are currently displaying a photography exhibition by The Inland Empire Photography Club (IEPC). The IEPC held a juried photography contest in June 2014. Twenty-five (25) entries were selected for the competition with prizes awarded for Best of Show, First, Second, Third and Honorable Mentions. The photographs selected for the contest will be on display July through September at both the Gallery at the Temecula Civic Center and the Gallery at the Temecula Public Library. The prize winning photographs will be on display, which include categories in animals/wildlife, still life and landscapes. A visit to the gallery will delight you with stunning images ranging from the colorful and dramatic to the imaginative and whimsical. The Inland Empire Photography Club’s mission is to operate a photography club for the exclusive use and enjoyment of its members of all skill levels in order to promote interest, knowledge, experience and enjoyment in the art and science of photography. The club currently has over 150 members. Additional information about the club can be found at iephotoclub.org. For information about this Cultural Arts program and many other programs and events, please contact Gail Zigler, Sr. Recreation Coordinator, City of Temecula Community Services Department (951) 694-6480.
