The Georgeson/Novak adventure to Portland Zoo; So we get to the hotel and we have the electric wheel chair and they give us upstairs rooms with no elevators...(now mind you we called and made sure one room was on the first floor, and had made and paid for this hotel months ago). We also required two beds in each room as Nikki & Jerry with Tyler and Deana needed one room and Jaime & Brandon with Lily needed a bed as well as Dee and I. We park the chair in the office go to the rooms and one of them only has one bed...We go to the office and with both Dee and I firing on the front desk we get a room downstairs with a roll away bed as the second bed...(Thank goodness we brought a cot for Tyler). So now the next day we go to get the breakfast they are supposed to be serving and they are out of coffee, coffee cups, waffle batter, orange juice, silverware, milk and it takes them over a 1/2 hour to get the items filled so we could eat. Finally finished with breakfast we get to go to the zoo...had a great time, come out to the truck and there is a parking ticket for parking over the line..(yes 34.00 ticket). Great right? Well it gets better ! Got back to the hotel and have the kids in the pool and a bunch of people scream a Chevy truck has just been hit in the parking lot...I go runnin or hobbling even and sure enough it is my truck. The guy that hit it backed into it extremely hard and buckled the back bumper. I start talking to him and he is drunk and has no insurance...try to get information and ask how he is going to pay and he becomes stupid and we have to call the cops...Five cop cars later he is arrested and taken to jail. And yes this all happened in two days...So glad to be home now :)
