The Geraldton Primary School P&C need your help. As you know we have a Super Summer Raffle happening at the moment. Our goal is to make $12,500.00. Unfortunately we are only ¼ of the way towards this target. The sole purpose of this raffle is to raise funds to upgrade our School “Quad” and it has been agreed that all fundraising efforts for 2013 will be allocated accordingly. Next year funds (due to Government funding cuts) may be allocated to other areas in the School, so we need to raise as much as we can this year to achieve our goal. The Quad and playground is such a needed area for all students. It will provide space for children that are not particularly interested in sport and much needed shade for children in the summer months. It will present another option as a teaching area and its benefits will be endless. Whilst we have a few dedicated people selling raffle tickets at the Supermarkets on the weekends we need more support from the school community to reach our target. The raffle is to be drawn at the end of year concert (11/12/13) this gives us 2 weeks to be proactive and turn this fundraiser around. If you are able to sell more tickets please drop into the canteen Wed – Fri or email nicolehallinan@bigpond .
