The Glenville-Emmons Trap Shooting Team, of which Southland - TopicsExpress

The Glenville-Emmons Trap Shooting Team, of which Southland student, Carter Conradt, is a member, finished as the 2A Conference Champions. The team also won both Male and Female Top Gun titles for Conference 2A. Carter was the Male Top Gun for Conference 2A with a 23.6 average out of a possible 25. Carter also attained the following individual ranks: 1/9 Team Rank; 1/44 Conference Rank; T5/1219 Class A Rank; and T16/5997 State Rank (T stands for tied). Carter will be competing with the team at the MSHSCTL Championship in Alexandria, MN on June 6, 2014. Also by finishing in the TOP 100 in the State he qualifies to compete at the first MSHSL Clay Target Tournament in Prior Lake on June 14, 2014. This is a tremendous accomplishment for a 9th grade athlete to finish 16 out of almost 6000 participants.
