The Gonzo Daily - Monday gonzomultimedia.co.uk/about.html I like Sundays. I wrote the blogs in bad poetry and then do as little as possible. My lovely wife and stepdaughter took the smaller and sprightly dog out for a long walk at Fremington, and Mother, Prudence and I spent the afternoon reading and dozing, and doing very little else. All three of my womenfolk in residence are going out to spend the day visiting National Trust properties, while I stay at home and make a valiant attempt to finish On The Track. Graham came back from London yesterday at about tea time. Apparently his mission to interview Keith Levene went according to plan, and I suspect that some of the results of this will be in next weeks Gonzo Weekly. INTERVIEW: Rick Wakemans long journey from the centre of the earth gonzo-multimedia.blogspot/2014/03/interview-rick-wakemans-long-journey.html The genius of Frank Zappa via his answering machine gonzo-multimedia.blogspot/2014/03/interview-rick-wakemans-long-journey.html CORKY LAING: MOUNTAIN’s God of Thunder serves up a philosophical rock opera that puts morality to the test. gonzo-multimedia.blogspot/2014/03/corky-laing-mountains-god-of-thunder.html GONZO TRACK OF THE DAY: Farther Along - The Byrds gonzo-multimedia.blogspot/2014/03/gonzo-track-of-day-farther-along-byrds.html THOM THE WORLD POET: The Daily Poem gonzo-multimedia.blogspot/2014/03/thom-world-poet-daily-poem_10.html GARY WINDO: Dogface German review translated gonzo-multimedia.blogspot/2014/03/gary-windo-dogface-german-review.html This weeks issue of Gonzo Weekly is here. Hooray!!! It has lots of Rick Wakeman stuff, a Cyrille Verdeaux auto-interview and a report on The Musical Box plus Acid Mothers Temple, Dr Who, Hawkwind, Eric Burdon, Wreckless Eric, and more news, reviews, views, interviews and sheep having a snooze (OK, no sleepy sheepies) but I got carried away with things that rhymed with OOOOS) than you can shake a stick at. And the best part is ITs ABSOLUTELY FREE!!! To make sure that you dont miss your copy of this and future issues make an old hippy a happy chappy and subscribe eepurl/r-VTD READ IT HERE: gonzo-multimedia.blogspot/2014/03/gonzo-weekly-68_8.html You can still read last weeks here: gonzo-multimedia.blogspot/2014/03/gonzo-weekly-67.html FOR BACK ISSUES AND BITS AND BOBS OF OTHER STUFF: gonzo-multimedia.blogspot/2014/03/gonzo-weekly-68-publishing-details.html PS: If you are already a subscriber but think that you havent been receiving your copies please check your spam filters. For some reason known only to the Gods of the internet, some e-mail programmes automatically count the magazine as spam probably because it comes from a mass mailer. Either that or they are just jealous of our peerless content * The Gonzo Daily is a two way process. If you have any news or want to write for us, please contact me at [email protected]. If you are an artist and want to showcase your work, or even just say hello please write to me at [email protected]. Please copy, paste and spread the word about this magazine as widely as possible. We need people to read us in order to grow, and as soon as it is viable we shall be invading more traditional magaziney areas. Join in the fun, spread the word, and maybe if we all chant loud enough we CAN stop it raining. See you tomorrow... * The Gonzo Daily is - as the name implies - a daily online magazine (mostly) about artists connected to the Gonzo Multimedia group of companies. But it also has other stuff as and when the editor feels like it. The same team also do a weekly newsletter called - imaginatively - The Gonzo Weekly. Find out about it at this link: gonzo-multimedia.blogspot/2012/11/all-gonzo-news-wots-fit-to-print.html * We should probably mention here, that some of our posts are links to things we have found on the internet that we think are of interest. We are not responsible for spelling or factual errors in other peoples websites. Honest guv! * Jon Downes, the Editor of all these ventures (and several others) is an old hippy of 54 who - together with his orange cat (who is currently on sick leave in Staffordshire) and two very small kittens (one of whom is also orange) puts it all together from a converted potato shed in a tumbledown cottage deep in rural Devon which he shares with various fish, and sometimes a small Indian frog. He is ably assisted by his lovely wife Corinna, his bulldog/boxer Prudence, his elderly mother-in-law, and a motley collection of social malcontents. Plus.. did we mention the orange cat?
