The Grand Budapest Hotel The movie was beautiful and every little detail was carefully thought of. The Grand Budapest Hotel was a mixture of comedy, romance and a touch of suspense. There were a few laughs here and there but later on it went somehow, tedious. I cant help but notice that they used the persons point of view as camera angles in some scenes which was clever because there was more connection to it. The characters were eccentric and the actors played their parts very well. Its brilliant camera work, awe-inspiring cinematography, art direction and production design go together perfectly. The film was well-paced and the camera movements and change of scenes were smooth. The different aspect ratios separated the time periods quite impressively without giving confusion to the viewer. The set looked like it was shot in an actual location and it was downright 1930s; although, I find the colors supersaturated. But all in all, it was a great film experience. #miseenscene #thisismyhomework
