The Great Storm Bake Off! Last week, Storm employees held various fund raising events in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. Over at Storm Manufacturing, the theme was TV shows and along with ‘Storm Does Countdown’ (which was won by Karen) they also invited staff to submit entries into ‘The Great Storm Bake Off’. This involved – yes, you guessed it – home made cakes!!!! As you can see from the photos, the standards were high and I understand from Paul that the judging was also taken very seriously. But there can be only one winner and it was Kasia! Not to be outdone though, the guys back at the office decided to do an Ice Bucket Challenge…. I’m not sure what the selection process involved, but Prakash drew the short straw. I should also say that tipping a bucket of ice water over you as you stand outside in England in autumn wouldn’t be my idea of fun. Still, it was all in a good cause (his words, not mine) and as you can see from the video, he went all in and did a fantastic job! In all, a fantastic £750 was raised!!! (Which includes a donation from Storm.)
