The Great Work of God in Jesus is described in Isaiah 53. We - TopicsExpress

The Great Work of God in Jesus is described in Isaiah 53. We access this wonderful Redemp-tion by acknowledging that this Great Work is done, and receiving the benefits already given. We are taking the facts of Redemption recorded in the Bible and in heaven, and bringing them into manifestation on the earth. This is what we are to call to remembrance in the Lord’s Supper. Matt 26:27 “And he (Jesus) took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; 28 for this is my blood of the new testament (covenant), which is shed for many for the remission (payment in full and separation unto purging, removal, obliteration and putting away) of sins.” Acts 13:38 “Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the aphesis/forgiveness (payment in full unto remission, obliteration, removal and putting away) of sins: 39 and by him all that believe are justified (made as right and united in God as Jesus is in spirit, soul and body) from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the Law of Moses.” What justified you under the Law of Moses, what removed the curse of sin for healing and blessing, were the animal sacrifices, but sin was never removed. That was to be done in Jesus. A First Look at a Done Deal: As far as God is concerned, forgiveness by payment unto remission of sin and physical healing were accomplished in the Great Work of His Mighty Arm, Jesus, and the Christ of God, who cut the New Covenant with His own spirit, soul, body and blood 2000 years ago. This work is described in Isaiah 53.
